Prosperity Financial Solutions are delighted to announce we are one of the proud sponsors of the Men’s Scotland Over 40's hockey team. This picture was taken at one of the teams recent training days, which followed on from their fantastic performance at the home nations tournament. In preparation for the World Masters Hockey Cup, the team showed great power and strength at the May tournament as they took on rival teams England, Ireland and Wales.
Opening the home nations tournament against Ireland, the Scotland team were off to a promising start as they won 4-2. The second match saw Scotland continue their winning streak, scoring an incredible 4-1 against Wales. The final game, the deciding match to see whether Scotland or England would take home the trophy, resulted in England winning the game, and overall tournament, 5-1. Despite the final loss, Scotland's performance over the home nations tournament in Southgate was very promising, putting them in an encouraging position for the World Cup which is taking place in Terrassa, Spain, from the 27th July to the 5th August. The Men’s Scotland Over 40s team kicked off the World Cup on the 27th with a tie result against Ireland 1-1, while yesterday saw the team take an impressive lead up of 2-1 against Oman. With the upcoming match against Germany set to take place on the 1st August, here at Prosperity Financial Solutions, we wish them all the best of luck and hope to see their success continue.
